I hate this arguement beacsue first of all they already assume you believe in God which somethimes isnt the case and if theyre assuming their beliefs are right can I not assume animal rights are right cos its my belief? anyways:
In the Bible it says:
This is all fine and dandy until you question the fact that tigers and so on are made perfectly to attack he antelope but we wont go in to that.
Thats a good thing to quote until the humans mucked up the earth and God drowned them all and then he said this:
This doesnt really make sense now because it seems he thinks anyone who kills another person does not deserve to live anymore [fair enough] and any animal that kills a human has to die too but were allowed to kill them? That doesnt seem fair.
And although blood gives life surely its still bad to cook something that blood used to run through of to drain the blood out of something.
And this means black pudding must surely be a sin because its pretty much just blood isnt it?
But in the bible, as far as I know you only really ever see them eating birds or fish not cows and so on altho maybe they dont have cows there.
I still think if Jesus were on earth today he'd believe that animals should not be tortured before they die. I mean maybe he'd eat meat but only if it was cruelty free.
All I got from this was that we were originally meant to be vegans and then he said we could murder and eat corpes if we want to...
Thoughts? Comments? Thats pretty much just confused me now.
In the Bible it says:
"God said, "Look, I have given you all the plants that have grain for seeds and all the trees whose fruits have seeds in them. They will be food for you. I have given all the green plants as food for every wild animal, every bird of the air , and every small crawling animal." And it happened."
This is all fine and dandy until you question the fact that tigers and so on are made perfectly to attack he antelope but we wont go in to that.
Thats a good thing to quote until the humans mucked up the earth and God drowned them all and then he said this:
"Everything that moves everything that is alive, is yours for food. earlier I gave you the green plants, but now i give you everything for food. But you must not eat meat that has blood in it, because blood gives life. I will demand blood for life. I will demand the life of any animal that kills a person, and i will demand the life of anyone who takes another person's life."
This doesnt really make sense now because it seems he thinks anyone who kills another person does not deserve to live anymore [fair enough] and any animal that kills a human has to die too but were allowed to kill them? That doesnt seem fair.
